Last week we talked about the importance of company values and gave some examples. Click here if you missed it. This week we're discussing how you can communicate your values to your customers or potential customers. When your values align with your target customer, it builds trust and loyalty. So it's important that they have a clear understanding of your values and see them in action.
Be an Example
Possibly the most obvious, and most effective, is to actually display your values in the way you do business. So when you're evaluating your customer experience, make sure your company values are made clear.
On Your Website
For a more direct approach, it's not uncommon to list your company values somewhere on your website. Visitors who may not be familiar with your business will know right off the bat what you're all about.
Share Testimonials
Getting feedback from your customers is always helpful. When it comes to making your values known, highlight some of the customer stories that display your values. This can be on your website, social platforms, or even in your ads.
Partner with a Nonprofit
Find a nonprofit that aligns with your values and team up. Collaborations are always a good way to reach a new audience while also giving your customers a new view of your business.
Stating your values on your social platforms makes for good content. It shows that you're not just there to sell, but also there to let your audience get to know you a little better.
As you're establishing your company values, think of how you'd like to share them with your customers. At 2nd Story we understand why this is important and we'd love to work with you to make your company values known in an effective and creative way.
