silver
anniversary
The Shakespeare Festival celebrated their 25th season, which is commonly known as the silver anniversary, so for this year's campaign we used a black and white palette with small hints of red. We photographed reflective objects to represent each show. This campaign involved a brochure design, mailable postcards, program layout, outdoor banners, web graphics and social media. We also used the titles of Shakespeare's plays to recreate the festival's traditional logo.
dead flowers
& fake blood
Continuing with the theme of selective color, we provided some black and white photography of the cast with one element in red. For All's Well that End's Well, it was a bouquet of dead flowers. For Macbeth, it was blood dripping and covering the hands of Macbeth and his wife (fake blood, of course). We also photographed the dress rehearsals of each performance and captured some dramatic scenes and vivid color.
